Why should we save the Green Sea turtle?
The green sea turtle is one of few animals to eat the sea grass since it strictly a herbivore. Sea grass needs to be maintained, since sea grass is being eaten by the green turtle. The green turtle by eating it makes the grass grow longer and healthier. It's like when you get a haircut and get the dead ends cut off so your hair can grow healthy. With the declining number of green sea turtles cutting the ends of the sea grass there is less sea beds of seagrass. Sea grass beds are important because they are source of food, protection to hide from predators, and they can be used for breeding. This would affect the fish that fed on sea grass because there is limited food. Then the fish would start to die off from starvation, this would reach up and affect humans, we would catch less fish.
